COMPANY OVERVIEW:
LPM Restaurant & Bar is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee the bar operations at our Boston location. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional beverage service, managing bar staff, maintaining inventory and cost controls, and ensuring full compliance with Massachusetts alcohol service laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure high-quality service and cocktail consistency.
• Lead, train, and schedule bartenders and bar support staff.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and beverage cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at the bar.
• Collaborate with management on beverage menus and promotions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address service issues promptly.

Compliance & Legal Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) regulations.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service, including proper ID verification and legal drinking age requirements.
• Maintain TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification standards for staff.
• Ensure adherence to local health, safety, and licensing regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–5 years of experience in a Bar Manager or senior bar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
• Experience with inventory management and POS systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
